I saw an episode about this on Dr. Phil today...I guess if they are both aware of what's going on but what kind of a relationship is it when someone is using the other just for money??

No, they are just wasting each others time. True love is out there. When you find it money doesn't matter. With true love comes bliss something money can't buy.
