Hey everyone! How was your Easter holiday? What did you do? I myself, cooked a big meal, gave my daughter her Easter basket, made phone calls to friends and family and we played Karaoke Revolution with some friends and ate until we were stuffed. Then cleaned the kitchen and relaxed and watched television for the rest of the evening. Even our dog got a special lunch. He had turkey mixed in with his dog food. He loved it! So, what did you guys do?

Me and my friends decided to have fun with eggs this Easter .yeah, it was my idea of celebrating Easter after reading a discussion one of my friends posted on Mylot. So, we had everything ready ,but I played a spoilsport, lol.I woke up too late and my call was supposed to wake them up.So,as you rightly guessed ,everyone slept through the day :-P.When I finally received a call from one of my friends it was almost evening. We got together and just enjoyed the company. My special menu never made it's way out of my fridge, lol.

Yes,we tried to compensate for the lost hours and parted with a resolve to do it rightly the next time.

That's funny! I am sorry to see that you didn't get a chance to do your special menu, but at least you had fun with friends and enjoyed your evening!

I enjoyed a day with my family. My step daughter came to spend the weekend with us. So, we had four girls here altogether. We hunted eggs and had a cook out. The girls had a great time and everyone found a prize egg. It was a great day!

I am so happy that you guys had such a great day. It is wonderful to see all of the kids having such a good time! Even better that they each found a prize egg! How lucky for them! I am sure they were just so excited about that LOL!

I had a couple of my partners friends here for a few days so it was quite busy for me, cooking and cleaning up after them. I did manage to speak to my parents on the phone and also spoke to my brother. Apart from that I have had a fairly good weekend, nothing special though.

Sometimes those are the best, LOL. I didn't have an overly active weekend myself, other than the cleaning and cooking and baking. I think that was enough for me. I finally got done cleaning and I am still tired! LOL Well, I am glad you enjoyed your company and had a fairly relaxing weekend.

This has been the very best Easter I have ever had. My son-in-law had to go to his parents place to meet with the family so they could all help move the parents from the farm to town. My daughter wanted to stay home because of my health issues. I went to stay with my daughter and the two grandkids I've been staying with them since Friday. It was so much fun painting eggs with the kids and to watch my grandchildren go on their Easter egg hunt was just priceless. I have never been so relaxed, happy and made to feel so welcome in all my life. They don't want to leave but I need to go home today to do laundry. There is nothing better than good family and children.

Amen to that! I miss painting easter eggs and egg hunting. We all used to go out and hide eggs early in the morning before my daughter would wake up, we would get her basket ready and hide it. She would eat breakfast and I would sneak into the hiding place and go put the basket outside so she could find it during her hunt. My daughter is too old for that now and we didn't do much but give her a basket and made a big lunch. I know it is very relaxing and fun to be with family and having the smaller children experience the fun. It sure is priceless! Well, I am sure glad you had a great time and I am sure you will have great memories of that for years to come!
