do you know to read and write chinese scripts?

i lived in china for a year when i was 16. I learned to speak words and phrases to get by, and to recognize a few common charactors. As far as writing it...forget about it! Ive also forgotten A LOT since coming back to the States. Its really true that when you don't use it, you forget it!

when i was still 7 years old, i was sent to this chenise school and i've learned to write and speak some basic mandarin. i admit, it was difficult. i can write my name, numbers and some words. but that was when i were still 7 years old. 21 years had already passed and even writing my name in chinese, i can no longer remember how.

i don 't have any idea about it but i find it very interesting and artistic...
