In yet another blow to the non-druggy rational of the world the University of Miami has released a report that a case-control study of those with Parkinson's in families those with the disease were less likely to smoke cigarettes or consume large amounts of caffeine than other family members. The report was published in the April issue of Archives of Neurology. Do you believe the smoking cigarettes and drinking coffee has been overhyped in the media concerning their medical problems?

i've read that moderate coffee-drinking has been linked to reduced cases of Parkinson's disease. but smoking? that sounds rather unbelievable...

Yah, I did not review the details of why. Seems unbelievable, but I believe smoking has alot of similiar brain activity responses as drinking coffee in that they both hit similiar stimulation areas.
