Looking for other Stay at Home Moms to talk to

I'm only a newish SAHM, my daughter has just gone 10 months & my partner is currently working a lot - take y'day - he worked from 9am - 5pm & then they needed him back at work so he went & worked again from 7pm - 3am! Hi! I'm a SAHM also. I have 2 daughters, ages 6 and 7 years old. My husband works from 2:30 until 11:00, but lately, with overtime, he's been working until 1:30 a.m. I used to be employed with an insurance company until December 2005, and have been a SAHM since then. During the time I was employed, my husband was home with the kids. We agreed that it was much better for a parent to stay home with them rather than to shuffle them off to daycare. We tried having babysitters when my husband was self-employed, but they never seemed to hang around long enough. I've always wanted to stay home with my girls, and when I was terminated from my job due to a reorganization, I found it to be a blessing in disguise, since my husband had just found a job in his field.
