I am a SAHM with two kids. I have a daughter that is 14 months and a son that is 3 months old. My husband works third shift so I have a lot of time with just me and the kids. I am looking for other SAHM's to talk to and hopefully make some friends with.

I have heaps of time on my hands these days so feel free to chat :) I'm always near the computer so we can chat through here or through messenger or e-mail - which ever you prefer :) Take care :)

I have you been a SAHM since your daughter was born? I became one before my daughter was born because I had many complications with her pregnancy. I had her than a couple of months later I got pregnant with my son.

Hi! I'm a SAHM also. I have 2 daughters, ages 6 and 7 years old. My husband works from 2:30 until 11:00, but lately, with overtime, he's been working until 1:30 a.m. I used to be employed with an insurance company until December 2005, and have been a SAHM since then. During the time I was employed, my husband was home with the kids. We agreed that it was much better for a parent to stay home with them rather than to shuffle them off to daycare. We tried having babysitters when my husband was self-employed, but they never seemed to hang around long enough. I've always wanted to stay home with my girls, and when I was terminated from my job due to a reorganization, I found it to be a blessing in disguise, since my husband had just found a job in his field.

I have always wanted to stay home with the kids. I am trying to find some kind of job that I can do from home. I wouldnt feel comfortable putting them in daycare plus we couldnt afford to have both kids in daycare. I love being home with the kids but somedays I miss the adult conversations that I had when I was working before I had my daughter. I guess that is one of the reasons that I am looking to talk to other sahm.
