That's what I call Monday Blues. I think it's more a psychological thing because we've been laid back for 2 days during the weekend and suddenly... come Monday, and you are still in a relaxed mood... So that's what I think!!

I agree but it's not just Monday mornings but almost EVERYDAY! I just can't seem to get enough sleep everyday. Even if I did get a chance to sleep early I would still wake up feeling sluggish and like I still need a few hours of sleep. That's why I'm always late for work these past couple of days. I really hate it. Maybe I should see a doctor or something, then again maybe I'm just lazy. LOL.

i think it's everybody. monday is the start of a whole new week, and if you have a job that isn't particularily something you want to do,that can drag you down.

Yes! Monday mornings are a drag. I suppose it's the standard mind set of students like it's start of another race again or the reality check from a really fun weekend. :D

This may be bacause late sleeping on sunday night. Most of us spend Sunday out of home and come back late evening. Sometime we see Sunday is very busy due to home work or travelling or going to outings etc. This makes us tired. On Monday morning we have to wake up early to start the day's activities. I think we should not take it as tension, if tension is in mind we cannot sleep well. This may make our day lazy. So better finish the sunday early evening and come back to home and go to bed at 10pm. Wake up on monday early morning and start the week with full zeal.

Wow, I feel sleepy almost everymorning. But I've got to fought back, cause if I were sleeping just straight ahead my schedules for the day will be ruined. The way is thinking somethimg positive, the ones make you happy or laugh.

No it's not only student that feel it...Monday is just a boring day as you just left Sunday that is in most country a rest day.I remember my child hood it come when you don't know your lessons and that the teacher will fire you at class you just tell your parent that you are sick in Sunday night so that on Monday morning it's sure that you'll not be at school but what ever you do you have to go to school the next day and face the reality...Monday is just an annoying day.

I dont think its only students who feel sleepy in monday mornings. Its true that students do feel sleepy but many office goers or anyone with a weekend off and have to get back to work on monday feel sleepy. Its quite natural.

Because it's the first day of class, everybody's lazy. After all, people might be going to parties, malls, etc. on sundays. And they go home late so they really have to have a nice rest.

Guess it's not only students but almost everybody. Maybe because we're tired and two days vacation is not enough doing a lot of things like, doing the unfinish project, visiting some friends and family, going out of town, watching movies or anything that we can not do during the weekdays. Not to mention sleeping late. In other words we did not have enough rest. Maybe if really have a good rest during the weekends we'll not feel sleepy anymore.

It's because most people are out late on Sunday.
