When you go grocery shopping do you buy more than you wanted??

I always do. Sometimes I prepare a list for groceries shopping but even that also I still buy a lot of things which are not in my list. I guess it is a human nature. But I do see people who can really stick to their mind by not buying unecessary things. Just wondering how can those people be so good in their buying power.

I usually dont have enough money to go and splurge and buy whatever I want. I usually just buy the essentials and maybe some snacks for myself. If I do have any extra money I buy anything and everything I see in front of mee that even looks good. Im not good with money handling which is the reason I dont have any extra money most of the time.

This always happend to me, sometimes I go in for bread and milk and come out with 3 bags of groceries, I think the marketing of these places work very well.

i always go in with a list. but like you i end up leaving with at least a few things that were not on that list! my biggest problem is i usually end up getting to the grocery store at the same time that i get hungry. which is never a good idea! lol

I would have to agree with you. Whenever I go to the grocery store for one certain thing, I usually cannot just come home with that one thing. I also work at a grocery store, so I know all of the sales from week to week, which makes my unneeded consumption increase drastically. I hate spending the extra money, but there's always those things that you want that are on sale and just calling out to you.

that's really usual... especially if you have a lot more budget... you pick out some stuff that is not even on your lists, if you do have a list... ;) when i do my groceries, i still walk on every lane, coz there might be something that i miss out, so this thing usually do happen to me! ;)
