Has anybody had kids that have gotten really sick with the RSV virus

I was wondering if anybody else had kids that have gotten RSV and gotten really sick. In Feb. both my kids got RSV. At the time my daughter had just turned a year and my son was just a month old. Both kids were hospitalized. My daughter it didnt really hit to hard. My son on the other hand got really sick. He stopped breathing and had to be on a ventilator for a week that was doing all the breathing for him. Both kids are doing much better now. I was just wondering if anybody else had to go through this. Or how your kids have done since being sick.
