what do u need to have a better and happy living?

i had a argument with my frd..she says... we should give priority in making money than anyhting else to have a better and happy life... in my words we need money ..it is only one part.. we need affection,love,job satisfaction,attachment with community and so many... all of them should be balanced...what do u say
