Have you been scammed on the internet?

I nearly got scammed by a bogus email from Ebay. I went on it thinking it was legit, started filling in my bank details, as it stated it needed to urgrade my account, then realised what was happening when it asked for my pin number. I quickly deleted evrything I had put on there and then contacted Ebay about this. I could not believe how stupid I had been as they always state they never ask for personal details like this. I think because I was new to the site I was unsure at what they did. So if you ever recieve anything like this delete it straightway. I was so lucky they did not get into my account.
