Backlash Main Event: Who Will Win?

Who do you think will leave Backlash as the WWE Champion? Will Cena retain the title? Or do you believe Edge, Randy Orton, or HBK will take it from him? The fourway match makes it easy for Cena to lose his title without being pinned. Who do you THINK will win? Why?
Let's speculate as to the direction of the storyline...
I personally think Michaels might win at Backlash, if for anything else to set up a HHH/HBK run for Summerslam... I think HHH will come back and feel like HBK has "moved on without him." This could give HHH the title and a monster feud with Bobby Lashley (who I believe will be on Raw full-time by the summer). What do you think?

i think that wwe may not go with the hbk hhh feud because it will be repititive on the way hbk and hhh broke up dx the last time. i think randy orton will win the title and he will start a feud with edge. maybe orton will be the face of this rivalry. john cena and shawn michaels will still be in the mix, they will still continue feuding without the title and triple will return for a handicap story and match. well that's just me and my mind.
another scenario, michaels will win the title in a 4 way match. cena will continue to feud with him until triple h returns and the two team up again to capture the tag team titles and at summerslam triple h will ask hbk for a title shot because they are friends and partners. hbk will retain the title and start his feud against cena they will face at survivor series but triple h will screw shawn michaels just like the 1997 screw job with bret hart. edge and orton will continue their feud and orton will be the face in the match up. they will continue their rivalry until the next raw ppv.

I would hope that they could do a little better than the HBK/HHH feud, but I think that they want to have something setup for HHH when he returns, and that's the most compelling storyline with the top guys in Raw currently. Especially since right now they've got Bobby Lashley in ECW.
I don't like HBK up there anymore, honestly. I think they are served better by pushing either Orton or Edge. I like Orton winning the fourway, too... with him and Cena and Edge doing a program through the summer, with Summerslam being the end-all since HHH should be back by then.

WWE's programming and plans have changed after triple h got injured that's why they are pushing HBK for the WWE title, maybe it's something that HHH & stephanie pushed to vince. well i agree HBK has passed his prime and they should be pushing younger guys because they are the future of WWE programming. it's good that they are starting the push for mr. kennedy by wining the money in the bank. as for orton he's one good competitor, a third genereation superstar who grew up in this business it would be cool to see him reign again after that month long stint as world heavyweight champion back in 2004. as for edge he still has a lot left in him and i think he will be champion a few more times because he's good at what he's doing making people hate him.

Yeah, I was really pleased that they are pushing Kennedy... it'll be interesting. It could very well be the influence of Stephanie and Triple H that has HBK at the top still.
Edge is the ultimate heel in the WWE right now. I don't think there is anyone else who plays the heel as well as he does. It will be interesting, cause I know the WWE doesn't like the idea of heel champions holding the title for extended periods of time (with the recent exception of Triple H), but they may have to. I love Cena, but it's getting a bit dry for me.

Are the Road Warriors still around? If so, they should win. They've paid their dues and have run the gamut. I like to keep it old school.

I don't think HBK will win the title from John Cena, and there is no way that Edge or Orton to win it. If HBK wins the title, that will make DX get seperated. I don't think that's gonna happen. So, John Cena retains the championship. Though I don't like John.

Although, I don't like it but I see Cena winning at Backslash. I don't think the "Superman Era" is over yet.

I will say the champ, John Cena will win and retain his championship! He is at the prime of his career. Im seeing that they will team up with HBK to get rid of Orton and Edge, and after that it will be a repeat of Wrestlemania, wherin Cena will again defeat HBK!!No hard feelings for HBK, but I think Triple H will be back soon and Degeneration X will continue to rule RAW, and they may even get the Tag Team Championship away from the Hardys.

let me tell u, edge is gonna win the title at backlash...
...it will be orton looking good for winning, he will hit either shawn or cena with a surprise RKO, but edge would play possum and surprise spear orton and cover or rollup either one for a pinfall...!!!
if this happens, edge would start feud with orton and cena and shawn would eithe feud or team up to feud with edge, who would have maybe say cade and murdoch on his side along with mnm, to start a new group!!!
by this time DX will include shawn, cena and orton, to feud with edge's organization, and things will fall neatly into places untill summerslam while triple h returns...the whole turning point happens at Summerslam.......keep guessing!!!!!!

I think the whole story of the WWE is based on the DRAMA as it is entertainment and the want to keep happy their viewers and they will only be happy if cena keep his title with him
the think you were telling about HHH that when he return with Nature boy and he double cross him so the shaun must keep out of it

I think that Edge and Randy will somehow screw each other out of the title and go into a seperate feud, so I'll go with Shawn.
If I had a choice then Edge would win.
