Ever wanted a holiday....

celebrate the peace and quiet - and probably be a child myself til they came home! xxx

Well, despite having to do their chores, i know I would have a heck of a lot less cleaning to do! I would be able to go for longer walks and long bike rides. They always slow me down, or if we go to the beach they want to dig and build dams and stop, so we never get a proper walk. I would also get to take longer baths, sleep later, and just generally rejuvinate. This is a good reason to get them signed up for gaelscoil or the scouts!

I'm all for a vacation away from my kids. Mine have beein going to sleep away camp for years now and this is the first year my son won't be going. He's leaving for college though in the fall so we will both get a vacation. I love being alone in my home and getting things organized when they are away and they love that I clean their rooms while they are gone. I catch up on some reading and have lunch with my girlfriends. I'm happy and when mom is happy, so is everyone else in the house.
