if you could design a home what kind would it be?

when we drive down country roads i look at the houses and think wow that one is nice or icky not my style etc. i use to play sims all the time as well and use to think wow if i could save enough money to build a house this is what i would make . i love to think and dream like that. i doubt if i ever get to build my dream house but it is nice to think about it. a dream house tells alot about who you are and what you like. some like alot of room and brick some like old and restored. if i could build a dream house this is what i would want.
i would want a house made of logs yes i said logs liek a log cabin. i would want 2 floors with a wrap around porch . when you walk in it goes to a huge living area then off to that i would want a dining area with a bar that lead over to the kitchen i would want the kitchen to be huge with lots of windows. then off to another side of the living room a nice bathroom area. then on the other side of the living area i would want a small planting room. then upstairs i would want a huge bathroom and 3 bedrooms. i would like each bedroom to have walk in closets and there own little balcony. the attic i would like to be a huge play room and craft room. i would want a shop out back for hubby to have his own spot to get away from all of us girls lol. and i huge garden with a pond. that is my dream house.

Oo, my dream house would be a one story house (i hate stairs with a passion) but it would be on a large plot of land. I would want it to be set back from the street a little, but also have a big back yard; fenced in of corse. The front door would be oversized, with a window about it. Inside would be a foyer and a nice living room. The living room would be connected to the dining room, so we could entertain comfortably. Of course I would want a table seating like 10 people. Anyway, moving on, the kitchen. I want a pretty standard kitchen. 2 ovens, 5 stove top, a counter and maybe an island. A big sink would be nice. I want a big laundry room with places to hang cloths, and a utility sink.
I want 5 bedrooms, and an office. Maybe a guest house in the back too. I want a master bath, 2 jack and jill baths connected to 4 of the bedrooms, and then 2 more baths (one guest and one half bath at the front of the house) My master bath would have a huge oval garden tub and a big shower. I also want a movie theater room, with a huge tv and surround sound. Lots of comfortable seating and a popcorn maker.
Thats all i can think of at the moment...

I would have a house built new with all the cool features of old houses:
-Cobblestone, at least partly
-wrap around porch
-tower or cupola
-some stained glass
-more rounded windows
-a spiral staircase somewhere
some rooms in my dream house:
-I have always wanted a bedroom where you could just fall into bed. Ideally, my bedroom would have an sunk in circular bed. I'm not sure what color it qould be. I used to think red, but I'm not so sure anymore.
-A huge library with ohhh...12 foot celings with one of those rolling ladders...
-An awesome decked out playroom for my future children

I've always loved the old Victorian style houses. We have a lot of them here in Guelph, and some day I want one!! I've always loved the design and the architecture.

I would have an Condo over looking the Ocean. I love the water and think I may have been a Queen of one in my past (only kidding) It would have windows looking out of every room. A cheifs kitchen for Thom and a big bathroom tub for me to sit and watch the sun set

i also play the sims before and i really have a lot of different themes from my dream house hehe...
but like my mom, i like a house that has many mirrors and glasses..hehe..id like my master's bedroom to have an automatic glass ceiling that has controls where i can close it with a steel or hardwood when i dont want to see it hehe..
i want the glass ceiling to be able to see the stars at night while my future husband and i lies on d bed hehe
