On my cousin birthday he get a brand new TV plasma. While setting it up, his girlfriend tripped over a cord and knocked it over, shattering the screen..he yelled at her about it and she cried for the rest of the day..he was very upset about his TV and feel that his girlfriend deserved to be yelled...and now he's upset for yelling his girlfriend and things with his girlfriend are not the same anymore...what would you do and how is your feeling when this happen to you?

Accidents happen, and this certainly seems to be one of those times. I understand why your cousin yelled at her, as I am sure he was both shocked, unhappy, mad and confused at the same time, and while yelling might not have been the best thing to do he did it. I do not think that his girlfriend cried, just because he yelled at her, I realy think that she was just as upset about breaking the new tv as he was, and I am sure she was shocked, apologetic and ashamed at the same time. I definitely think that your cousin should make a sincere apology to his girlfriend when all his anger has worn out. After all a tv is only a tv, even if it is a brand new plasma tv. The girlfriend; however, might be the woman he will end up marrying one day, and I am sure that, if they stay together this will be something that they will laugh about at their 10th wedding anniversary.

i would have yelled at her too! she should have been more careful around a brand new plasma tv while it was being set up. But if she cried for the rest of the day, either she's overly sensitive or he yelled at her too much. I think he had every right to yell, as long as it was within limits.
