What are your motivation and goals for making money online ?

I'm pretty sure that a big percentage of members on this site are attempting to gain money using the internet. Many people are using various get paid to sites (such as this one), running an adsense blog or website, running an amazon affiliate site, or even opening up an ebay store. And sadly some people are resorting to using scams.
But what are your motives and goals for doing this? Are you trying to make a million dollar? Is there a new pair of shoes that you really want? Perhaps you want that new leather jacket, but all your money from your day time job are going towards paying the bills. Or are you just experimenting to see if its at all possible to make money online.
Personally my motivation and reason for trying to get money online is because I need and want a new laptop computer. I have an HP Pavilion zv6000, and let me just say, "DON'T ANYONE BUY ONE!!!" They suck badly..
So my motivation for making money online is that I need and want a new laptop and my goal is get at least $1000 using only the internet.

My motivation is just to be able to help bring in some extra money each month . I want to feel that somehow I am contributing , if only just a bit , at least something .
With the extra money I am able to buy extra for my children . I was able to buy my three year old a pagent dress that I never would have done before .
I enjoy being on the computer and that helps as in with this site , I enjoy typing so I don't mind doing something like this and am amazed that they even pay us for this :)

well good for you.....i am here too for making money......and frankly i enjoy it..... cause you know...you are justing discussing stuff and getting paid for it....my motivation is also ...that i need to colllect my pocket money for college.....mylot seriously helps me do that...
