How much do you pay a baby sitter?

I was wondering how much babysitters go for? I'm trying to go back to work and a friend who is a stay at home mom offered to watch my 10 month old son for half of what a some one else would charge, but neither of us ever paid a sitter before so we don't know! Any replies would be helpful, thanks!

I have a babysitter for my son and I pay her Php2000 per month. That would be about 42 to $50 per month. She's a stay-in in our house and takes care of the baby the whole day while I am at work.
