this is a common problem with most of the childersns. take her out of the house and let her play out door games. keep her away from the computer only from games. keep her busy with oter activiies to avoid this.

Your problem is simple enough to solve. It's all about discipline! Remember, you're the parent! As long as she's still young, your authority will always be the one to be followed. Maybe you can hide the computer first so she won't be able to handle it. Second, know other interests of your child besides playing computer. Maybe she likes to go to the beach, or collecting some stuff. Try to give that to her. In that way, there's a big possibility that the attention of your child in computer games will divert in either one of these interests she had. As I said, discipline is needed. Do you have your pc at home? Well no problem, at least your daughter stay at home and learning and safe.

The key word her is your daughter is 8 years old. you are the parent and you are or should be in control of what your daughter dose,when she dose it and how long. I would limit her time on the computer untill her grades were brought up and if they wernt kept up she would have no computer time.
