The purpose of this discussion is to share what we know about common issues being ecountered by poeple using Vista. Eventually, most of us will be using Vista and trust me, "nobody is exempted fom having issues with Vista. I hope everyone will be able to share their personnal experiences and also provide fixes/resolutions if any, to help others as well. I will try my best to update this thread everyday. Let me start with this known issue: When you start up your computer you get a popup message saying something about a driver incompatibiity. If you have Roxio installed then this is a problem with the Sonic DLA used for drag-and-drop. To fix this issue, download the patch and install it. Type on the address bar and just follow the prompts. This should uninstall the previous version and install a Vista compatible version. Hope that helps!

Well yes for Vista to work on your system you need at least 1GB RAM and videocard should be atleast 128MB for the AERO feature to work. Not all 128-bit/128MB videocard will work so might as well get a 256MB one. As for the preocessor speed. I suggest it should be at least a 2.66Ghz not neccessarily Duo Core. With your system specs I suggest you just stick with XP. My system is 3.4Ghz 2GB RAM and 256MB video but I'm sticking with XP since I don't want to get into trouble. I work with Vista computers everyday, they're great when they work but there are still a lot of unresolved issues. I suggest trying Vista after 6 months.
