Family guy or american dad?

which animated shows would you prefer watching? FAMILY GUY OR AMERICAN DAD?
I love them both, their so funny. The ironic comedy makes me laugh all the time. which brings me this question, family guy or americand dad?
I think they are created by one company, although I'm not sure. anyway they're funny.
A lot of people think these kinds of shows are horrible. They teach us nothing. In their own sense they are vulgar. But who are we kidding. Kids love watching those kinds of show. And it's sad but it's true. I admitedly like watching those shows. And although it does not help my intellectual brain develop. It does however cheer me up. It makes me laugh my butt off.

I much prefer Family GUy. I dunno why but American Dad just kind of irks me. Its not as funny or original as Family Guy and the characters are much weaker than those in Family Guy. Not to mention how long Family Guy has been on before American Dad.

Has to be Family Guy, its the original and funniest. American Dad is practically the same show only thy've replaced a talking dog with an alien

They are kind of horrible but they're funny! Both are funny they both have the typical american family but american dad just has an extended one.
