I'm a big fan of the '70's cars, Ford Anglia, Ford Escort MK1 & 2, Cortinas, TR7's, MG's, Granadas, VDubs, Capri's to name but a few they were the days when cars had real style, yes today cars are more reliable, comfortable, quieter and safer but they all look the same don't they? either they look like jelly moulds or boxes on wheels. What are your thoughts on this? Are the classics still the best for you? What was your favourite?

Yes I love the '70's cars as well, I believe that the best cars in my country at that time would of had to be the Holden cars, and next would of been the Ford Escort MK 1 & 2 Yes cars did have real style in those days yes they did look similar. Yes the classic still are the best for me. I also found that the cars made in that era lasted a lot longer without many problems than the cars made today.

Absolutely, there are so many things that can go wrong with cars today, I'm dreading my car going wrong as it's got all the mod cons and onboard computer, but what if it catches a blimmin virus? Who will I know who to take it to? The garage or local pc repair place lol! thanks for your response!

those vintage cars are rarely seen on the roads these days. the place where i live i have seen couple of those cars one i remember was a dark red colored Gatsby Griffin Car at a function. i guess although people own these cars as prestige they just use them as party cars now.

Yeah, to be honest most are used as classic cars nowadays arn't they because of the repair of them. We have quite a few classic car rallies where we are so I do get to see quite a few, and when the sun comes out, everyone seems to have one lol! Thanks for your response!
