Is the Inheritence trilogy a better read than the Lord of the Ring trilogy?

I Have read both these trilogies execpt the last one of the Inheritence one.The Lord of the ring series was definitely a great book which deserves praise but Christopher paolini's inheritence series is not far behind. The first installment of this series 'ERAGON'was a mindblowing epic in which a boy and his dragon struggles against the evil Galbatorix. The second part ie. 'ELDEST' continues his story and the final part is yet to be released. The Lord of the Ring books describing the struggles of Frudo Baggins to destroy the ring was incredible. I am confused now that which one of these should be called a better epic than the other. Plese give your opinion , it will be appreciated.
