I have recieve requests to be friends from 35 mylotters and just wonder what makes you choose your friends. I have only asked one to be my friend as I was very interested in his posts. Just wondering how you pick and choose your friends. BTW..I apologize for not accepting any friends lately. I have to get on and do that.

I have only asked a couple people to add me to their friends list...you were one of them actually, thanks again for adding me. The people I asked are intresting and post good discussions. Unfortunatly I do not have enough time to post as many discussions as I would like to so for now I enjoy reading and responding. When you have friends that are able to post quality discussions it makes responding to them more enjoyable. For me, the most important qualities in a friend (Mylot) is how active they are, quality of posts, do they respond to THEIR friends and obviously having some common intrests. My friends list is quite small, compared to some, but I have to say I enjoy responding to all of them.

I just accept all the friends requests which I receive as I wouldn't like to offend anybody by refusing. If I find out later that they are spammers or cheaters then I will delete them but this has only happened a couple of times.

well, i haven't had any friends requests yet, but i would choose them based on their interests and the discussions that they've started. i would want friends that have some of the same interests as me so that we can answer each others discussions with the knowledge of where the other is coming from.

All but one of my friends requested me. The one I requested was the same way as you. I found myself repeatedly answering her posts as many of our interests are the same. I like to keep the number low as I don't have a lot of time online. If they haven't started a whole lot of one line stupid posts I usually say "yes".

true friends are hard to come by and its much easier to accept friends that have the same interest as you... but isnt what makes the world go around the fact that everyone is differnt. so i normally will accept friends and if later down the road one of them isnt exactly what i would call a friend there is always a delete button.
