The two most dreaded words that a man can hear

husbands and wives - husbands and wifes

It seems that in an argument most women can win. I for one am quite intrigued at this. In fact my husband and I have had this discussion more than once. Most men when with friends and around town will act as if they "wear the pants" in the relationship, however behind closed doors a woman can win the argument by simply saying "cut off". Why is this? Does it work with you as well. Guys what do you think?

It has taken me a long time to come up with 2 general rules when it comes to argueing with a spouse; 1) women are always right. 2) if by some fluke the male is right, please see rule #1. This has saved me alot of time and embarrassment.

We have been together now for 6 years and plan to be together forever. After what we have already been thru,I can't see any reason why we will not be buried together in 40 years or so.

Cut off what? I have never said any thing of the sort to my husband in the 37 years we have been married. And he does wear the pants. I don't get your question.

I don't necessarily take the guys side. my husband and i love debates and discussions, so i asked him to come up with a topic. this is what he came up with. i love the controversy in it. i just don't like to see a guy that upset. so if you make them feel good, it builds their self esteem. and the only guy i really like to argue with is my husband.

You are so right !! So many men want ohters to believe that they make all the decisions when in truth it is usually the woman and when there is an arguement to be won it is usually the woman who will win this also . I am not sure why a man feels the need to let his friends think that the relationship is not equal as that is what it should be but would rather boast about things that are not true .

yes you are right.the women always win the arguments..my husband told me before we got married that i was the boss,i was sorta taken back by his statement,so knowing me i pushed the issue....Well he said I learned a long time ago that men can never win so I just gave up rather than fighting,so you are the boss...Simple but true he said...Well i do not over turn my power of course, but whatever i want to do ,he goes along with it.I have never had to say you are "cut off",so thats the way its been...As you say when he is around a bunch of people he acts tough like he wears the pants...I never ask for that place,he handed it to me all by himself...........but when we are alone he always says "your the Boss" LOL

my husband and i agreed when we first got together that we would both make decissions. if i feel strongly enough about a situation i will push the envelope though. but my husband will do the same thing if he feels strongly enough.

Not sure what you mean, I have never heard of any woman I know of using the words "cut off" not sure what it even means and how can you win an arguement by using it, I am just curious.
