What (if anything) do you collect when you are on vacation?

I like to collect fridge magnets. I have a lot of them from different countries stuck on my refrigerator door now. It's just a reminder of the places that we've visited and they come in all sorts of shapes, sizes and theme.. I like them so much.

wherever we visit I like to buy a tshirt and postcards. once I collected seashells and put them in my garden. they looked nice.

I don't go away, so can't collect stuff. Where did you travel to? I have not been much out of Hobart, as I don't have a lot of time for stuff. I have been to St. Helens & Bicheno. I was going to go to Port Arthur on an april day, 11 years ago, but had to pull out at the last minute. I would love to travel around Tassie, but have not had the opportunity to do so. When I do get a chance to travel, I usually get a tourist brochure or something like that, or a T-Shirt, frisbee, etc. The problem with rocks & such is that it can be difficult to remember from where they came.

Like you, I used to collect rocks, pebbles and seashells. I decorated the wall of my coal bunker with all the shells I collected and it looks really nice. Now, anything I collect cost money because it is mostly ornaments and souvenirs etc.

When I go on vactions I seem to by tee shirts and coffee mugs for the people I want to bring something back..Usually they have the name of the state or a map of the state on them.... I don't know if they like it or not but that's what they get.....also ash trays for my friends who smoke.... and always a music box for myself... But I love music boxes have right close to 75 of them right now....

We do exactly the same thing..when I go to beach...which I usually go during vacation...I collect different colors of pebbles and put them in my aquarium...,,I believe that my little blue shark enjoy them..=)
