I was such an avid fan of Disney growing up but now, it seems to me that there movies are going downhill and people just don't seem to be as interested in the movies as they used to be.I know of kids who don't even watch Disney anymore and wanted to know what you think .I am really tired of seeing the endless seguals.

Well I think the whole Disney Vault thing is a huge marketing scam and I wont ever run around trying to get a movie before it "goes into the vault for good". And lately their movies haven't been the classics I feel we are used to. They still make great $ off of them I am sure, but I am still waiting for some great classic to be to open up so I can take my kids to see it.

I agree with you. I only watch the classics.I will admit that Cinderella 3 was pretty darned good. That was the only exception I made.I too am still waiting.I don't think we better hold our breaths lol.

I still love Disney movies and we buy them for our grandkids too. We never watch anything in our home that is rated above PG-13, not even the adults. We have everything blocked on our dish that is over PG 13 too. We never unblock them. We believe that if it is not fit for kids, it is not fit for us. I love it because we never have to worry about surfing and up comes a view that is not acceptable in our home. This is why we love disney movies, they are clean.

I love the classic Disney cartoons. I think that's cool that you have your tv blocked .I wish more parents and grandparents would take the time to block out some of these trashy shows they have out.Bravo,Village ann!

I'm not big on animation, but I was as a kid, and when I have kids of my own, I'll look to purchase the animated classics that I grew up watching. But, even at my age, there are still some excellent Disney movies that I enjoy watching, although none of them are animated. Two of my favorites are Remember the Titans and I hope you've seen this one Jersey Girl...Invincible (what a remarkable story).

I have lost a lot of interest in Disney movies as well though they have had some good ones. You are right that their movies are going downhill and hope that they do something about it to regain the great image that they once had. There are very many sequels, both in Disney and in other films.

seguals? is that anything like a seagull? I know, you mean sequels. I don't really notice since I don't have kiddos.
