My all-time fav(s) are Zinedine Zidane,Thierry Henry,Lilian Thuram. It was a heart-breaking to see France loose the world-cup by a whisker but they truly embodied and proved to be a Phoenix and rose from the ashes in their world cup campaign,putting the flamboyant likes of Germany,Brazil and other countries to shame.

My favourite all time France soccer player is Michel Platini. To me the France team in which he played was the best soccer team in the world. Once Platini said that the France with Zidane was stronger than the team in which he played, but I don't agree with him. I'll never forget the strongest centre field in the world: Platini, Giresse, Tigana.... the good old times....
