Colored Stars On Posts..

The color if the stars is just to distinguish them from other stars with different number on it.The number on the star is member's star rating.The number on the star is dependent on the member's reputation.The reputation is dependent on the ratings given by other members to your responses and discussions.If more members give you +ve rating your reputation will increase.reputation is a number which can be seen by placing the mouse over the star.You can see it by placing the mouse over my star and see 93/100 which is my reputation in myLot.In some browsers it cannot be seen but in Internet Explorer it is visible.This is the form in which it is displayed.The star rating or number is derived from reputation.

Colored stars next to ours are the indications how well we are posting in this mylot. The higher the number, the higher mylot values you as posting contributions. If you get 6 it's mean your rank is 6 as mylot contributors. And you only get it after you have 100 posts. Don't worry, you will get it soon.

Those stars represents the rating in mylot.People rates you either positive or negative or dont rate at all when ever you put a discussion or a response to a discussion.Depending on that,your star rating also goes up.Some times you stayed on 9 rating and suddenly fallen to 8 or 7.That means you are not posting quality stuff now in mylot and other users who are reading your responses and discussions are rating you negative.So keep going with quality stuff and then you can see your star rating going up.A ten star is the maximum I think which has a dark bluse colour.

They are our rating as Mylotters. The number inside shows how we are rated or graded according to our posts and participation here in mylot. They says how active we are and how informative and relevant our posts are. I can say that it is our overall rating as a mylotter.
