What makes your child special?

All of my children are very special to me, for more than one reason. I am so greatful for having them.
My oldest is special because he was my first born.
My second is special because he was my Easter baby.
My third is special because she was my first daughter.
My fourth is special because she will always be in my heart. Sadly she didn't quite make it into this world.
My fifth is special because he was born healthy.
Like I said there are many reasons why my children are special, these were just some of the reasons. What are some of your reasons as to why your children are special?

I am like you, all my kids are special, and for different reasons. My oldest is special because she was born christmas day, my second is special because she was first born with my second husband, my third is special because she is the middle child and i make sure she wont suffer from middle child syndrome, my forth is special because she is my last daughter and she is also a good little gymnast (even though she is having a break at the moment), and my fifth because he is my last child and only boy. He was also born on Australia Day. These of course are not the only reasons they are all special. They are all individuals, and i love them very much. Also, even though they were all born in different months, there birthdays fall on consecutive days - 22nd, 23rd, 24th, 25th, 26th

Wow! You don't usually hear this, with the dates. I love why your children are special. How do you cope with you child being born on Christmas day? Do you celebrate her birthday a bit earlier or later so she feels that its a day just for her? Thanks!

It is special to have a birthday at christmas. Some people would get funny about it though because it would be like only one day of the year that they get presents. I am glad that your daughter sees the good side of it. I love the way you say happy birthday first before merry christmas. Thanks!

when she was younger, i made sure she had a birthday a little earlier, but never forgot xmas was her birthday. I always say happy birthday to her before merry xmas. she is 20 now. She is always the first one awake, still, waking everyone else up. We have xmas presents 1st, then she has her birthday presents. she tells the others she has the best birthday because after everyone opens their presents she knows she gets more. Then in the evening we have a cake and things for her. For her 18th she had a big party a couple of weeks later. She thinks her birthday is really special cause it is on such a special day

For me there is only one reason really that makes my kids special...they are my heart and soul adn that is the only reason, mind you that also covers all of it really I mean they are my everything and everything about them is special...

That is so nice to hear, there are so many reasons as to why my children are special. If I tried to write them all down, I don't think the list would end. I would agree that everything about my children is special too. Thanks!

There are a million reasons why my son is special.
When he was born, the cord was wrapped around his neck twice and it also had two knots in it. My doctor said he didn't know he had survived. He was born in just one push, though, so he didn't have any extra pulling from being pushed part of the way out. His cord was also extremely long. It was pretty scary when he was born, though. No one said anything for a couple of minutes. And then the doctor said "Hello Elliott. Welcome to the world." And I knew everything was okay.

All of my children were born early and had to go into neo-natal for some reason. So all of my children are special because they were early and they still pulled through, plus there are about another 1000 reasons.

My child is special to me because he made my life turn around, he is the sole reason why I believe that people can change. If it hadn't been for him i'd probably be lying in a gutter somewhere.
