Ladies, what is your daily make-up routine?

I don't put a lot of make-up myself because my skin is very sensitive and prone to acne ever since I moved to a tropical country.. Since I am under acne treatment products, I usually just put some powder on... Most of the time, though, I don't wear any make-up at all... Before that, I usually put some powder on, light eyeshadow, and mascara... Couldn't live without my mascara.. LOL.. How about you, what's your daily make-up routine?

Hi kiddygurl! I seldom wear make up and don't put a lot of it. Only when there are occasions or parties that I'll be attending, that's when I dash more colors on my face. When I go to work, it's just the usual face powder, eyebrow pencil and light lipstick that I use and it takes just a couple of minutes to do it. Now that I have currently developed skin allergy, I'm being careful with what I put on my face. For me, make up is not that important. I'm such a low maintenance girl and more into the simple look. I'm actually amazed with women who can do the whole routine of putting on complete make up every single day. It takes a lot of patience and art to do that. Thing is, it takes a lot of time too, because it's like painting an empty canvas everytime.

Yup, it does take a lot of everything! I'd rather use that extra time to do some cleaning in my room, reading a magazine I haven't touched for a long time, or anything that I haven't had time for lately. :)

I agree... I don't think that I would be able to have the time or the fire or courage to wake up earlier every morning to put on the foundation, eye shadows, blush on, eyeliners, eyebrow pencils, etc... It does take a lot of time to put a make-up on... And it sure does take a lot of time to get it off, too... You know... And you have to cleanse your face thoroughly; otherwise, you might end up with breakouts in the morning... It does require a lot of time, money, and energy... Don't you think? =) Thanks for sharing your thoughts, steney! =)

I am a very simple person. I prefer to not wear any make-up. All naturel especially if I am at home. But if I need to go out, I would put on an SPF face powder and a lip gloss unless if it's an important dinner outings with my partner, I would put on a little extras like powder, lipstick, a little eye shadow and transparent mascara. I don't like the idea of clogging my pores too much 'cos I have sensitive skin that is prone to breakouts too. Like yourself, I am also using doctor's prescribed products for the face..

Yeah, you sound a lot like me, syain1972! That's exactly what I usually do... If I need to go out, I would put powder and lip gloss on... If I need a little extra, I would use light make-up, but not too much.. Thanks for replying.. =)

I always put light make up before going to work. I use baby powder instead of foundation. (i noticed with baby powder my pimples were minimized...) then eyebrow, eyeliner, blush on and lipstick. that;s just about it. when there's a n occassion that's the time i put mascara and eye shadow. Avoid roaming around under the sun without sunblosk on your face.. that causes pimples and wrinkles.

Yeah... Thanks for the tips.. I am obligated to wear sunblock on my face because I am under this acne treatment products that I wear now... As I understood, the products make my skin even more sensitive against the sun... But I always hate to wear that sunblock because it makes my face feel so oily, you know... That's why I don't really like to go during the day because it is hot out there and I don't particularly enjoy wearing sunblock.. Hee hee.. =) Thanks for responding, Damacoy! =)

I apply make-up in the morning once I am dressed for work. I use foundation as a base mixed in with a little bronzer for color. I then use a little blush on the cheeks. Then eyeliner and eye color that matches my outfit and last I use mascara and lipstick or gloss. It sounds like a lot but it looks pretty natural and not too much. I reapply blush and lipgloss throughout the day as needed.

mine is simple as well. the weird thing about make-up is, when you put more to look better. it actually makes your skin worse. and then you have to spend more money on concealer! so the best is to have a good base. then with minimal make-up one can look decent. i put mascara when i have contacts on. otherwise behind my specs, funky or otherwise, can't quite see the mascara effect too! LOL

Hahaha... Yeah... LOL... You're right... The more make-up on your skin, the more you'll end up spending... LOL... Thanks a lot for the response, squaretile! =)
