after responding in a certain discussion do you still spend time looking to it again just in case....
there might be comments or question that the one who started a discussion left for you.
i always comment on members who spend time on responding at my discussion but i think not all spend time looking at it again.
well i was just asking. do you still look at that discussion you responded to?

i actually browse a lot more than do postings here in mylot. :) i spend quite a lot of time reading than starting discussions or giving responses.
i always go back to the discussions i responded to, just to check for comments in my responses. if the starter of the discussion or other mylot users left a question there, i would like to be able to answer it. that's why it's very seldom that i post more than 10 each day that i log on to mylot.
the same thing goes whenever i started my own discussions. i always go back to it to provide additional comments to their responses whenever applicable. :)
i believe that discussions should be an exchange of ideas and thoughts... so a comment here and there helps keep a discussion going. i don't like it when the starter of the discussion never even made a single comment on any of the responses in his/her discussions... it's very discouraging to participate the next time to those type of mylotters. :)

There are certain discussions that I go back to and look and see if anything else was said But those are the ones that I asked a questioned to them in or that I found very interesting.

I definitely go back and see if there is a question on my response or just a very nice reply. I think it is nice to go back and see how your response was responded to. That is a definite yes for me. It makes it much more interesting in my opinion.

you can here prove to yourself if the poster of the discussion is interested on the discussion he/she started or just post it to gain points. thanks for the response.

Yes I do. I always recheck my discussions and the ones I responded to..
and try to reply to them..
I think by doing that you make people feel that you are interested in their responses and thoughts.
And I won't register in mylot if I wouldn't respond to people.. this is what mylot is all about :)

I try to keep 2 windows open at all times while on mylot. In one I will reply to discussions, and in the other, I will check and comment on responses my discussions got, and then I will check on discussions that I responded to. After all why respond to a discussion and leave it alone, Aren't we all a bit curious to see what the poster thinks of our responses!
