Library Thing is an excellent site for those readers who want to catalogue their books online and socialize with readers that have similar interests... this could lead to new friendships, romances, business oportunities and perhaps a wedding or two! :) Who Knows? Ok maybe I'm exaggerating slightly... but book lovers just might be interested in this one! :) Please let me know in your comments if this link is useful and fun... Thanks for stopping by! :) http://www.librarything.com/

Oh goodness!!! It would take me hours to go and log all of my books into a website!!! LOL Good thing I have what I have read for the past few years in an Excel spreadsheet! But I still think it would take me hours to input everything I have! They need to have some type of spreadsheet import method. ha ha That way all I would have to do is upload my spreadsheet into their database! :) I have to keep everything that I have and have read in a spreadsheet. Because I have found that titles can be the same or even very similar. Then the titles start all sounding the same and I question if I have it or if I have read it. So, to solve that problem...I created a spreadsheet. LOL But...I just might get bored this summer and start inputting all my books. I just hope that I don't forget this site. ha ha I guess that is where bookmarks come in handy...but my partner gets irritated with me putting so many bookmarks in my favorites. LOL

Oh man! That is totally cool!!!! OK, I had to go sign up in hopes that I could put something in my inbox and maybe start logging books as I read them...then I can back track this summer and start adding from my read list. LOL And when I searched a book, it shows the book cover and I can rate it to show how well I liked it!!! Awesome! This can come in very handy for me! LOL Why didn't you tell us about this sooner??? ha ha

I recently joined LibraryThing. Would be interested in hearing other people's experiences with the site.

I think that's a cool link. I think that I'll reach the 200 level in no time if I were to catalog all the books that I read my children everyday.

Wow! That sounds interesting! I think that you may be exaggerating a little with the whole romance and wedding thing! LOL :) I think that is a great idea though, and you can share your thought as well. It might take a little while for me though...and a lot longer for my mom to enter in all of the books that she has read. That would be a great way to catalog your books though! Thanks...I might have to look into it more and maybe even use it! :)

I like Library Thing; I may end up having to consolidate the lists into one and paying for it; I have had soo many books I have read, that I had to start a couple of accounts and go from there; Interesting site.
