Best Goalkeeper in Arsenal

The best goalkeeper, Arsenal have ever had is David Seaman. If you want a keeper with 'safe hands', this man has got it. His discipline was exceptional. Compare that to Jens Lehmann who has the odd tussle with opponents. If only he was ten years younger with this current arsenal side, we would have been challenging for more trophies.

Best goal keeper Arsenal ever had - David Seaman. I remember watching him pull of a truely incredible save from Paul Peschosolido, who played for Sheffield United at the time, in the FA cup semi final many years ago. It was incredible, he dived across the entire goal and got fingertips to a header from about 5 yards out. He was also one of Englands best ever keepers. Did not like the pony tail much though.

Yeargh! I agree with you guys..but I did remembered in the World Cup 2002..at that time, David Seaman played for England...It was the games between England and Brazil..Brazil got a free kick..far away from the England goal area...Ronaldinho took the free kick...as soon as the referee blowed the whistle, Ronaldinho quickly took the free kick and it went straight into the England goal..hehe..David Seaman can't do anything...he did tried to reach for the ball but he just can't get it..The england team did made a protested to that goal as they claim David Seaman was not ready yet before the free kick was taken.. But anyway, David Seaman did gaves an amazing performance with Arsenal...he is still one of the best goalkeeper in Arsenal..
