It is very dangerous! It is much like playing Russian roulette with your future. The longer you play the more likely you will die early in life it it won't be pretty. Type one or type two is not to be ignored. Sure you feel good now and it is hard to understand you really have a problem but you do and it will catch up with you. If your heart doesn't get you first you can look forward to having small injuries turn into big problems. A cut on one toe will turn to gangrene if not caught in time. Worse case you will loose it as well as anything else you ignore. And then eventually you will find you are going blind. This is a decease that if taken care of will allow you a fairly normal life but if ignored will do you in and it won't be perfect. I knew of a women that refused to believe she had it. Ate anything she wanted and no medication. She lost both legs to gangrene and her life at a fairly early age. Who ever you know that is not taking care of this please make them know of what lies ahead.

If you refuse medication - the sugar level will go up very high and it can create many complications.
