Suggestion about MYLOT interface

I've seen the new mylot, member's welcome page.Just one suggestion. Why can't you make mylot more like a downloadable software, like popular messengers, where members can access mylot through that software and not through HTML pages? It would be a lot easier and enjoyable to use. and I'm sure many people would be encourage to join as regular members.
