If so, how much have you lost so far? I am on week 6 and have lost 5.6 pounds! May not sound like a lot but I can tell such a big difference already! In the past 2 years, I got a job where I sit all day, got a bf who takes me out for fast food a lot, and quit exercising... and I gained 15 lbs! So now I'm trying to get it back off!

Yes, I am! I was about the start a discussion about Weight Watchers when I did a search on here and guess what? There is so many about weight watchers, so I don't think I will start a discussion. My mom and I started weight watchers in January 2007. I was at a weight I didn't like. I don't think it was a bad weight, it was just where my clothes were very tight and I didn't like it. Since January I have lost 25 pounds (about 11 kilograms). I don't go to the meetings because I don't have the extra money, but I encourage my mom to go because she can tell me what's going on. Plus I feel like I know what's going on. My goal is to lose around thirty-five to forty pounds (around 18 kilograms). For the longest time I exercised at the gym that the university had (I was a student). I felt wonderful, but now I cannot go as I am not a student. The only option is to work out in my home or at a park. I cannot afford to pay gym fees, but I am thinking about YMCA. Pablo

I was on Weight Watchers a few years ago, unofficially. My wife and I were using my mother's books and point calculator. We both did well at first. We kept our diaries, counted points, planned meals for the whole week. I also started exercising more and I lost close to 50 pounds in 4 months. Unfortunately, that much weight loss in such a short time was hard on my kidneys and I had to put my diet on hold. Then my wife got pregnant and couldn't follow the plan anymore either. I'll tell you, it takes a lot of willpower to stick with Weight Watchers on your own! I couldn't do it. I'm still down 30 pounds from my start weight, but I've never gone back to dieting.
