Opening a liquor store

One of the things before investing I would look into is, in that area how many liquor stores are there? Is there a demand for another one? I would go visit the liquor stores see what they have and offer. Maybe talk to the owners or the clerk about the buiness. Question you want to think about, What kind of return are you looking for and how long for the investment? Usually a buiness takes 5 years to get on its feet. Are you going to be the person selling the product or have to hire some help and how will you pay the wages for a year? Do you have a building that would not take much work to put a store like that in and how long will it take you to open?
