I have one! I inherited "Bird" (he came with this name...really orinigal, huh) about a year ago, and when I first got him he was very withdrawn and frightened. Slowly I began spending more time near him and I soon discovered that he loves music-and he gets his head bobbing to certain beats. Although he still will only allow me to touch him while he's in his cage, I can now put my face right up to the bars and he will come over and put his beak on my lips or nose. He has begun to learn tunes and he says "pretty bird" all the time. He now "shows off" when someone new enters the room! He especially likes women...

Hi! Welcome to MyLot! I dont have any cockateils but I used to have a budgie called Harry. He was beautiful. Many people dont realise that birds have such amazing personalities and are really just like little people :)
