Gujarati thai is the healthiest

Gujarat may be the diabeties capital of the country but when it comes to the perfect lunch,nothing beats the traditional home-made Gujarati thali,which is the healthiest and most wholesome of all Indian cuisines. Before you start scratching your head,Adrian Kennedy,president of the Health and wellness association of India,elaborates the theory. Dal serving as source of protein,rice injecting a shot of carbohydrates,shak(vegetables)bringing anti-oxidants and micro nutritents to the table,the chapati providing fibre and chaas or curd aiding digestion,make the Gujarati thali the perfect lunch,says Kennedy. Kennedy,who was delivering a lecture on Worldclass healthcare services,also argued on vegetariansim."Gujarayis prefer vegetarian food which pays rich dividends in long run,"Kennedy said. Then why is there a high incidence of diabetes and cardiovascular diseases in the Gujarati community?The answer,according to Kennedy,lies in the life style."if you are ambitious,compeitive and result oriented,stress stress levels are bound to be high'"Kennedy said.Of ci\ourse the famed Gujarati penchantfor farsan and snacking also plays a part too.But what about the south-indian idli and sambhar that is rated high on the health food matrix?"Idli and sambhar are ideal for breakfast.They are healthier option as related to bread,eggs and butter,"added Kennedy.

A halo halo... i m also a proud gijrati and ur discussion was perfect.i also think tht the gujrati food is the best.and i yhink only we gujratis have a real sense of taste.our food is nutritious also and tasty too.and regarding ur diabities talk its not the type of food tht causes diabities,but its indigestion tht causes it.and now gujrat does not belong only to the gujratis but now its a multireligious have a nice evening and great food.jai dwarkadhish.
