I enjoy HardTrance - 150BPM with kick hard base. Although I am an " infected" Fan.

to listen a hard trance , you must to understand the real trance by Armin van Buren made , or Marco v , Paul Oakenfold. Oakenfold was my favorit artist when i start to listen trance.

Start listening to "Infected Mashroom" and Shpongle. Then move to Hallucinogen (he is Shpongle but different kind of music). There are many types of trance - psytrance, progressive, goa and etc. You can find you own vibe by listenning. But the most attraction for you will be going to an actual trance party. Better with people who are already know what it is, so they can more inspire you ;)) I hope you'll become one of us ;)

well from what i think i don't think there are diff. types of trance is just the diff music that diff djs or composers prefer to make and create diff. mood according to the type of music they make . as u said uplifting , molodic...they are diff but not types of trance from what i know , but i maybe be wrong . there are diff types of genres that a classified according to the beats and mood .

well theres many sorts of trance...even if DJ's own diff. composers but theres alot... 1) %75 of the track goes for the bass..wich i consider 'House' for clubbing only.. 2)psychedilc trance is my fav. & it contains Real fast bass , beat & woofels N the dj must keep the same rythem... 3)vocal trance ...n this kind isn pure trance cuz the DJ must leave spaces in melody to let the vocal sing...so it isn powerfull ... 4)euro trance..just like "Love u more" for Armin van Buuren....n this kind r usefull in a party..etc... man theres alot to say but u gotta knw that real trance is some muzik takes yr mind off..a track like "Voyage" by DJ Yahel 4 example...thats the real trance...

I like uplifting trance more. the trance sounds which are soul energetic and not too much ups and downs. Just uplifting slow and very deep!

I LOVE PsyTrance. I live in San Francisco, where is the most beautifull trance community in the US ( i think). We have so many great producers and DJs over here, but my heart belongs to psy ;)

I like full power dark trance, souding like Parasense or Shift. They call it Dark trance here in portugal, not sure in that works out for the rest of the world :)
