what is blog?

Help!! I'm a bit stupid when it comes to using a computer - I can do the basics but need a bit of help here and there...what is blog and how do I go about setting one up? Does it cost or is it free? Anyone with a bit of knowledge for a dimbo? Please take it I know nothing!!

First make your mind its not at all complicated:
If you want to start a blogging website Just take a LINUX hosting account and then take a script of www.wordpress.org the script is free any computer knowing person can install and you will be getting huge help resources for that by wordpress.org ITS A BEST BLOG script. Secondly if you dont want to own a website. just go to http://www.blogger.com/ ITS FREE AND AS YOU ASKED.....ITS THE BEST.

I have 3 blogs now which you can take a look at to get some ideas. I use blogger and it is so easy to set up a blog - just follow the instructions really and then just experiment with the layout.
