Yes I think that this is a very good idea. I have always found school uniforms cool. Maybe it's because I never have had one. Not sure.

In college? Uh, no. It's a great idea through highschool. By the time you reach college, you should be socialized enough to know what not to wear. Besides, if a college aged student is mature enough to live on their own, buy their own food, pay their own bills, etc, then they should be able to dress appropriately without the need for a uniform. On top of that, unless the university included the uniform for free, there's no way most college students would be able to afford that added expense. I'm not opposed to a dress code for college students, and if you look, you'll notice that dress codes are already in place at ALL universities. Mine had some silly things like "no bikini tops, shirts required, no beverage holding hats" and some really off the wall stuff. It's understandable. You have to figure those are there because someone pushed the limit. Dress codes are one thing, uniforms are another. No place for uniforms in a college setting.

It should be there in school because it looks cute. Secondly it serves the purpose of equality and discipline. You look like a group.

I think uniform should exist whatever college or others. But school should not force us to wear everyday. I think in some serious get-together or meeting , we should wear it.

Yes uniform must be there in schools and colleges because it helps in unity of students. It also helps poor people who cannot buy dress daily. It must be compulsory in schools.it really makes student to be discipline, polite, and makes them a feeling that they are united. It helps the students to become friends and there will be no partiality to anyone that they are poor or rich...

Uniforms must be implemented in schools as in a school there will be students from economic zones, different culture and different religions which can lead to clash of interest within the students itself. There will be also poor people who cannot buy or do not have money to buy dresses.for them it will be difficult. If we wear uniforms it will be more discipline and it will help students to be in unity.

No way... not in college, that would be awful... I remember many a time I would wake up Monday morning, slide out of bed, brush my teeth, put on deodorant, and run to class in my pajamas... why take away the fun in that? I think at college age, we are old enough to wear whatever we want. Now, private universities often times have dress codes and uniforms, but they are entitled to that cause they are private institutions. But never should any public school ever require college students to wear uniforms. Younger students, possibly...

When I was at school I didn't like wearing uniform then when I got to university I wanted to wear school uniform. Kinda weird but I wanted to be cool at school so I tried to wear my uniform in different ways. At college I was fed up thinking what outfit to wear next so it would have been nice not to think about this stuff or better still not to buy any more clothes. Now that Now that I've gone through all that, I think school uniform looks good and should be kept up.
