What was the R.E.M. song used at the end of the April 4 episode of Jericho?

I can't get that melody out of my head, it's so haunting!
It was the episode where Mayor Anderson gets shot. At the end of the episode, they were playing this R.E.M. song, and I don't know the name of it and it's driving me nuts!
Does anyone know what the name of that song is?

The song is "Mad World" by Gary Jules. Most of us remember it from the movie Donnie Darko. Certainly is a haunting little piece, disturbingly catchy and easy to relate to.

The only part of the song I could remember was about "the dreams in which I'm dying are the best I've ever had"...it's that line that just kicked me in the gut and made me want to know what song it is.

Yeah that's the line that usually gets people I've found. ;) Certainly is the one i recall before any of the others.
