Blinds open or closed?

My mother house is so dark and gloomy. She has all of her blinds shut as well as her front door. She says it's because she likes her privacy and doesn't want people to see in. I am the total opposite. My blinds and front door are open all day until dark time, I have to have sunlight, I'm not a vampire. I think if people have nothing better to do than look in my windows all day more power to them. So how about you , open or closed? Is it really a privacy issue

I do keep th blinds open especially in the morning so that sulnlight flows in. However when i am with my husband we prefer to keep our blinds closed as we have our own private work to do.

I have it all open, too. I have no problems with privacy. I am like you...if they want to look in my house, may as well make it easy for them. LOL Now, when it starts getting dark, I shut everything up since it's so easy to see in at night, but it's hard to see out. But, I do like my sunlight.

Usually open. I have many plants and they need their light. Plus I love when the sunlight fills the place. I do leave them closed if I'm lounging around in my pj's or just want privacy. At night I will sometimes leave them open for a while.
I also figure if people really want to look into my place, then so be it.
