I would deffinatly agree with you.. i actually enjoy both but i was born a rock lover in the 80's and to this day rock and metal will alwyas be my favorites out of all the genres of music.
Do tell me why you enjoy metal :)

i enjoy metal because we also play them not just listen to... i enjoy decapitated, lamb of god, meshuggah, pantera, damage plan and other metal bands... and when i hear emo its like gay and i dont enjoy listening to emo... no offense but thats just my opinion.
