This is the first time I've been a little freaked out. My 5 month old daughter has a rash, little red bumps on her chest, behind her knees and on her legs, but also dry, rough patches on her cheeks, upper arms and legs. She doesn't have a fever, it was 98-99 degrees. And she doesn't seem to be too upset about it. She has been a little fussy and her hceeks get really red sometimes and she feels a lot warmer than she turns out to be. Does anyone know what this is?

Sometimes a fever is accompanied by a rash, but if she doesn't have a fever, she may have had some sort of reaction to either something she ate or any shots that she has gotten in the immediate past. She may also be having a skin reaction to the detergent you are using or she may also be teething (this can sometimes cause rashes) so check her gums to see if you feel any teeth about to pop through.

Might be the teeth for sure, she had trouble with them a few weeks ago but they never came through yet. Thanks, I'll keep an eye out and see if we change detergent or anything lately.

my daughter has the same problem for several months now! if i go to the doctor they will give me medicines, but those aren't good for the skin so i won't use that. it's still there, nothing more nothing less, so i let it stay! sometimes i use some cream but that doesn't work. maybe an allergic reaction of something she eats? if it doesn't bother your daughter, just wait like i do, i hope it will disapear when she turns older!
