good manners. is there any one who doesn't like persons with good manners?

a person with good manners is popular.Everybody likes a person with good manners.
Ideas of waht are good manners are not the same in different regions.In my country china,shaking hands with each other is polite to show our greetings.
How about your country?

That's a good habit with good manners.
i also have manners to people form my parents taught,especially for older people.~~

I was taught at a young age to say yes yes sir and no sir and yes mamm and no mamm and to reply to older people this way. I still do this out of repect. I'm not sure if it is something like a custom from America or not but I do this out of respect for people.
