Traditional medicine from my country !! Hi . If you have those problems like me then you know how frustrating it can be to get that burning , nauseated condition , especially after a particularly large and spicy meal , or after a day of too many cigarettes , or too may Pepsis (all of which I frequently partake in regardless of the complaints of my inner organs) So here is a natural alternative to all those chemicals used to decrease the acidity of the stomach , H2-receptor blockers , H2-Pump inhibitors , Antacids etc It consists of the PEELS (the outer crust that is usually discarded) of POMEGRANATE they are cleaned under running water , then the peels are soaked in a pitcher of water . The water slowly turns dark red to brown , after the colour is satisfactorily dark , a cup of it can be taken in the MORNING and at NIGHT . The resulting solution has a bitter taste , and has a slight soapy feel to it . However it tastes a little like TEA when a little SUGAR is added and it is more agreeable to drink . So I would appreciate it if anyone with similar problems would try this and then get back to me with feedback . I know from personal experience that this preparation is almost as strong as the usually prescribed medicines . BEWARE : DO NOT abandon your pharmaceutical treatment EVER if you have or have had a BLEEDING ULCER ! ! ! ! ! ! ! P.S. Recent research shows that the health benfits of the PEEL of POMEGRANATE (for other problems than heartburn , like cardiovascular ) is MORE than the value of the edible SEEDS , they have a very high content of ANTIOXIDANTS which are especially good for people with lipid disorders , diabetes and aging in general . Many food companies are currently developing a JUICE that is made from BOTH the fleshy pits AND the peels ! ! !

I had responded to your discussion last week, but now I see my post has evaporated... Anyway, it's an interesting treatment but I don't think I'll be trying it anytime soon.
