Menu Planner???

do you make/have a menu planner? does it really help in your everyday cooking? cant u give me some tip on how to make Menu Planner??

I actually do make a weekly menu, its a fairly simple process.The first thing you want to do is figure out what you want to eat for the entire week, that being the only difficulty to it, but once you do that {I'll give you an example at the end}. Only buy the groceries you need to for that specific menu and even get your husband or wife involved and creat one together it actually allows for extra time together to just and talk and if you have children, let them pick something out for the family even.I hope this helps you out some and here is how I make my weekly menu planner. Monday: breakfast bagel with cream cheese, fruit and coffee. lunch: ham and cheese sandwich, potatoe salad, iced tea dinner:roast beef,mashed potatoes,broccoli with cheese sauce and cold drink. now as I said this is just an example, you dont have to make a menu for all three meals if you dont have time to eat them and they certainly dont have to consist of the food listed, that was from my actual menu from last week but that is how I make a basic menu, it also helps make a shopping list easier to make and shopping a little quicker.I hope this helps you, take care and the best of luck to you.

i had a muenu planner at my parents place but now i m married and here i dont have anything. my in laws dont like that way. i think its a very nice way to eat a heakthy, balanced food distributed in the week, and you know before hand only what you have to cook for the next meal, so no tension and hurry.its a very nice way. my mother use to sit with the family on every week end and decide what has to be eaten on which day by everybody's choice and then she use to write it down on the planner.she use to plan all the meals, breakfast, lunch, dinner. and she always use to check that it should be healthy. it was a very nice way to have your cal. count check.
