characeristics of the early childhood years

what makes two-to six-year-olds different from other children? The abvious answer is that they are young and have their own style of operating. At this stage in their development they are extremely active, always on the go; they are not good at keeping quiet or sitting still. They are full of boundless energy. The world about them is inviting, waiting to be discovered and mastered.
