i am quite confused. in some postings here people make reclame and give their referallinks to websites they are members of or they make promotion for websites they own. is this allowed? is it allowed to post referallinks or make promotion for websites that you own?

I don't think they allow it. I see it happen quite a bit though. I am starting to think that these guys don't really moderate the forum very much. I myself try not to do it. If I have one I want to tell someone about, I will just messege someone with a link. I have a good thing going here and I dont want to blowe it by violating the terms of service.
